Dr. Pavel S. Blagov
Education & Training
My PhD in clinical psychology is from Emory University, and I completed my clinical internship at Columbia Medical Center. This high level of training enables me to leverage psychological science to help my clients. I have been licensed to practice psychology in Washington since 2012.
Academic Appointment
As a psychology professor at Whitman College*, I teach courses on psychological health, psychotherapy, personality, and sexual orientation. My academic work helps me stay current with many new developments in psychology.
Research & Scholarship
My published research concerns important ways in which people differ, including personal memories, personality styles, depression, gender, and sexual orientation.
Organization Membership
I am a member of the American Psychological Association, the Association for Psychological Science, the Washington State Psychological Association, the American Association of University Professors, and Phi Beta Kappa.
