WELCOME! (THIS PRACTICE IS FULL AS OF JULY, 2024)
Online therapy is a great choice if you:
Therapy is confidential, but online therapy has different implications for privacy than going to a therapist's office. Online therapy protects your privacy better when:
Online therapy may be especially convenient when:
To participate in online evaluation and therapy sessions, you need a reliable high-speed Internet connection and a device (preferably a desktop or laptop computer or a tablet) that has a Web camera, a microphone, and speakers. A headset (earphones with a microphone) is highly recommended.
To participate in online evaluation and therapy sessions, you need to be in a private space where you will not be interrupted. Whether you join the secure video conference with the therapist from home, from your office, or from a hotel room, you will want to make sure that you are not interrupted by family members, roommates, colleagues, friends, clients, neighbors, strangers, or even pets.
Insight Psychology, PLLC, provides services to clients who reside in Washington State. If you do not reside in Washington, or if you expect to move to a different state or to a different country within the next few months, then online therapy with Dr. Blagov may not be the best solution for you. Psychologists are licensed at the state level, and they usually cannot provide services to out of state clients.
You may be in crisis if you cannot take care of yourself, cannot keep yourself self, or are about to hurt or try to kill yourself or another person. Online therapy is not well suited to help people in crisis. If you are in crisis, please call the local crisis response team, call 911, or go to the nearest emergency room (and then call your primary care doctor). You can also call or text the national Suicide and Crisis Lifeline at 988.
Online therapy is not well suited to help in a psychiatric emergency. A person has an emergency when they stop making sense to others, hallucinate, lose touch with reality, become very paranoid, take actions to harm themselves (like stockpiling medication for an overdose), or talk about hurting or killing themselves or others. If there is an emergency, please call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room. In WA, you may consider calling the local crisis response team.
Insight Psychology, PLLC, provides psychotherapy and counseling services for health care and personal growth. If you are seeking psychological services for other reasons, then we may not be able to help. Not all forms of psychological difficulties are appropriate to treat online or on an outpatient basis.
Decide whether Dr. Blagov's services are a good match for your needs.
